 Our Mission Statement:
The Friends of Poplar Hill Mansion, Inc. is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the fostering and perpetuation of the Federal Period heritage of Poplar Hill Mansion, a public property located in Salisbury, Maryland, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The City of Salisbury owns the Mansion and the Friends of Poplar Hill Mansion maintain the historic interior and are responsible for the interpretation of the Federal period and the families who lived here.
Poplar Hill Mansion is open for tours on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 1 - 4 p.m. Come hear the stories of the families who lived here and learn about the history of the last 200 years. Admission is free on those Sundays and for the annual Holiday Open House. Other tours (by appointment) are $3.00 per person.
When you tour with us we ask that you bring along a non-perishable food item to share with our local food bank, The Joseph House.
The Mansion is closed on Tuesdays and holidays.
